So glad I finally tried this place! Appreciate the parking near the building, and they have a cute outdoor seating area. I ordered the Timba and the cuban sandwich. Honestly the Timba was was of the best things I've had in awhile, with the sweet dipping sauce, yum! The cuban was HUGE, could have easily split with another person, piled high with meat and perfectly pressed cuban bread. Delicious!! I also got a couple flans to go, and they were amazing as well. The owners mother stopped by my table to check on me and tell me a bit more about their flan flavors. Plenty of seating indoors, order at the counter and the food comes out quick! Loved this place and will be bringing all of my out of town guests here too!

Found this place through TikTok and it didn't disappoint. The food is great, the flan is amazing the cafecito is delicious. It's a must whenever visiting Tampa
This is probably the best flan I've ever had. I tried the original and the dulce de Leche flavor. Both of them had a very rich milk taste, but my favorite was the dulce de leche. The staff was nice, and they have nice decorations and a large area to sit and enjoy your food.
I tried the flan here but they have lots of other food options that look really good and I'll have to try next time. I tried their lemonade dulce de leche flan and the original flan. Both were delicious and rich and flavorful. They have a firm, creamy texture and a good ratio of custard and caramel. They have customer service was good. There's plenty of seating available inside and there's a few tables outside. There's lots of cool pictures and signs and seating inside. They also have lots of other flan flavors, a couple of which are seasonal. I can't wait to come back and try more food here.
Woah! the flan The Flan THE FLAN This was a spot I had been wanting to try and it exceeded ALL expectations. I liked flan, but Flan Factory made me realize I LOVE FLAN! There are at least 12 other flavors I need to try just to make sure Super cute ambiance, friendly staff and did I mention the FLAN?!?
This is a tough review to write, and I wish I could give different scores for different items. First off, this is a small restaurant in a very transitional part of Tampa with plenty of parking and a nice feel inside. For the service, I ordered a to go order at 2:30 on a Saturday and it took over 30 minutes to receive my order. Take it for what it's worth- but be prepared to wait. Service is good, albeit not as great as other family run Latino restaurants in the area. For the Cuban sandwich- the portion is huge, but it fallas short of some of the better Cubans out there. 4 out of 5 as the pork didn't have much flavor, but the rest was good. Also ordered an appetizer of tostones. The dipping sauces are great- and tostones were good. 4.5 out of 5 Ordered a fried rice bowl with chicken. Unfortunately the chicken was dry, but the real shake is this dish lacks an identify. The main flavor is really derived from the bean sprouts as they are so many of them. I think with a nice sauce, and better proportions- this could be a home run. As it stands now, 3.8 out of 5. Now let's talk about the name sake/ Flan. If you want anything other than the small portion, they require 24-48 hours notice. So we ordered the original flavor and I can tell you it is fantastic. Or flanTastic! Highly recommended. It is dense, but not too heavy. Great flavor and keeps you wanting for more. The Flan Factory is great place to go for fantastic flan. But there are better Cuban places in town
I've wanted to try this place for a long time, and I just haven't got around to it until now. I'm really glad we went. I just wish I would've went sooner. We walked in and were immediately greeted. We ordered at the counter, were given a number, and went and found a seat. It took about 2 minutes tops, and they were already bringing us our appetizer. They had great, speedy service, and they were really friendly. The restaurant was bright and clean. We ordered the Cuban and steak sandwiches as well as some Timba. Everything came out hot and fresh. Everything was also delicious. The sandwiches were substantial. This is up there as one of the best Cubans in Tampa. This is, by far, the largest cuban sandwich also. I was so full I didn't have room for flan or coffee so I will definitely have to go back soon.
I have to say it, I'm your number one Flan. By far one my favorite Cuban places in Tampa. Low key location right outside of Ybor and easy parking make it easy to get to. But watch out, someone told me they may leave to start an OnlyFlan's soon (ok I'll stop). You'll get friendly counter service , then grab a seat and they bring it out. They expanded the space and it is definitely worth grabbing a seat. Omg the food, this was one of the best medianoche sandwiches I've ever had, do yourself the favor and pair this with Timba (fried cheese amazingness) and a flan (pick any flavor you won't go wrong) Sincerely, your biggest Flanboy ;)
